Intern at a nonprofit organization
My internship was at a nonprofit organization for children who parent/parents passed away. Being once a child who had to live with the death of a parent working here was heart felt. When every one arrived you had to state your name, age, and the parent who passed away. Growing up without my mother I was in an environment where I never really spoke about it. Watching children as young as five years old saying it out loud that their parent died was touching for the inner child in me. I loved my experience being an intern at Kate's Club, and do plan on volunteering there even more in the future.
