- In this role I supervise and direct daily activities and behaviors of youth residents in a detention facility
- Work to maintain a safe and secure environment by diffusing adverse behaviors through crisis intervention, de-escalation and physical intervention techniques
- Complete accurate and timely Incident reports and documentation for review by management
- Handle processing of new juvenile admissions which includes an admission interview and a screening assessment tool
- Maintain positive rapport with all residents to closely monitor their needs and identify activities that may positively impact the youth
- I am up to date on CPR and Crisis Intervention training.
