- I currently work with 2 surgeons by boarding their surgeries and assisting in LASIK, PRK, and Cross Linking Surgeries. I was personally selected by Dr. St. Aubin to assist him in the Cross-Linking procedure. I board over 4o surgeries weekly, check insurance benefits, request insurance authorizations, perform cataract testing, order supplies and stock the O.R. with necessary supplies for surgery. I counsel our patients, educate them on cataract surgery and Premium IOL Upgrades. I was previously promoted to Office Manager but due to a company restructure, the position was dissolved.
