Administrative Assistant
4 Months- At Hawaii Kai Peninsula I worked as an administrative assistant. I helped residents that lived in the condo. I worked on writing emails, answering phone calls, scheduling elevator reservations, being organized, and scheduling. I interacted with a lot of people throughout my day and tried to help them to the best of my knowledge. Being an administrative assistant was a great experience for me so I understand what it is like to work in an office. Coordinating the schedules and making sure everything was on track were my main priorities at this job.
Pharmacy Technician
1 Year 2 Months- I am a pharmacy technician with Long Drugs. I help assist my colleagues and patients. I answer phone calls, respond to voicemails, count and pack medications, and I work with computers everyday to make sure my patient gets the best care and is satisfied with my work. Working in a really fast-paced environment has been a huge help for time management and learning how to have patience but also be on track of time. I love helping people and this job has helped with that.
Preschool Aide/Assistant
6 Months- At HiEmployment I was a preschool teacher assistant/aide. I helped children learn, study, and taught them new things so their parents are impressed and notice improvement in their child’s education. I helped the teacher prep lunches, homework, and assisted them whenever they had lunch break or were helping another student. My main goal was to help the teacher feel less stress and for my students to do well in school. This was a good experience for me and the job that taught me how to assist children in a proper manner.
Line Cook
1 Month- As a cook with zippy’s I learned how to prep and pack food. I made sure the plates were neat, my colleagues had the right items and food, and I also made sure that my customers were satisfied with their cravings. Being a line cook helped me learn more about cooking and being patient, on time, and mainly helped me learn how to work in a fast-paced environment.
