• NeuroSpeak is an AI-powered application designed to assist individuals with aphasia, apraxia, and other speech disorders through communication tools and guided speech therapy exercises.
• The application includes a communication board, speech therapy exercises, object detection with speech conversion, user customization settings, and a therapist portal for progress monitoring.
• Built with React Native/Expo for mobile and tablet use, with a web alternative implementation that maintains feature parity, Firebase integration for authentication and data storage, and backend services for speech processing and object detection.
SnapAR Wellness Lenses (Hand Acupressure & 4-7-8 Breathing):
• Developed two SnapAR lenses to promote improved sleep and stress relief.
• Created an interactive 4-7-8 breathing guide using SnapAR, providing a visual and engaging deep breathing experience.
• Implemented a hand acupressure lens, projecting pressure points onto the user's hand to aid in pain and stress relief.
• Utilized Snap's Lens Studio with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.
• Addressed challenges in hand tracking, feature design for mental health, and physics collisions.
