Responsible for answering phones, appointment scheduling, patient check-ins, Input and running insurance benefits, financial counseling PRN, obtaining medical referral, andsigning in DME as it comes in as patient order.

Responsible for all venipunctures, fingersticks, Urinalysis, running lab controls, patient vitals, updating patient health history, performing bladder scans, patient phone calls, calling in prescriptions, scheduling diagnostic tests, patient education, filing charts, and supplies inventory.

Responsible for all patients' vitals, Accu-check glucose monitoring, updating patient history, scanning results into patients' EMR charts, and downloading Insulin pump use history.

Responsible for assisting the physician with patient exams and procedures, all vitals signs, updating patient history, scheduling all diagnostic tests and surgeries in outpatient and main OR, calling in prescriptions, triaging patient problem phone calls, calling patients with test results once physician signs off and gives a plan, patient education regarding procedures and/or upcoming surgery, completing all FMLA/STD paperwork, NST fetal monitoring, and utilizing therapeutic communication. I was also the only clinical nursing staff member with the physician for several months until an LPN was brought on board. At that time, I was entrusted with successfully training her on the expected duties.

Responsible for all patient vitals, urinalysis, Urine pregnancy tests, preparing patients and assisting with patient exams as well as procedures done in-office, performing NST fetal monitoring and fetal strip interpretation, EKG's PRN, venipunctures, scanning results into EMR system, cleaning and sterilizing all medical equipment used.
