Dissertation Work

My dissertation research explores exclusionary discipline and discipline disproportionality in rural school districts using counternarrative methodology, with the goal of centering the voices of students and families who have been impacted by exclusionary practices, challenging majoritarian deficit-based narratives, and advocating for equitable discipline policies.
