Musical Hobbies

         I play in 3 bands in which we all practice, refine, record and play shows both locally here in the Antelope Valley as well as down below like places such as Long Beach, Santa Ana and Pasadena. My bandmates and I are always seeking new opportunities ranging from learning different skills to help us attain a better understanding of our instruments as well as forming a deeper cohesion within our bands.                                     Such activities include :

  • Practices ranging from a minimum of 3 hours to a maximum of 5 hours.
  • Taking songs and breaking them down measure for measure to get every note and beat on the dot.
  • Practicing with a click/metronome to get a firm grasp on our concept of keeping time.
  • Traveling down to Van Nuys to rent spaces at local studios at places such as ,"Pop Studio Rehearsal's", and "Uncle's Studio Rehearsal's".
  • Watching some of our favored musicians to see a demonstration of stage presence whilst maintaining composure to perform.
  • Discovering and learning new chords in different keys & different styles of playing to always bring diversity to the table.
  • Being Open to humiliation/failure which keeps us both humbled and willing to improve.
