After graduating from Shoreline Community College in December last year, I opted not to immediately continue my studies at UW Bothell. Instead, I chose to fulfill my military service obligations in Taiwan. Due to the policies in Taiwan, enlistment is not immediate and requires a series of procedures including medical examinations and a draft lottery. During the waiting period for my enlistment, I took the opportunity to work at Starbucks, which marked the beginning of my professional career.
Initially, I lacked experience in the workforce, but under the careful guidance and mentorship of my manager, I progressively acquired the skills necessary to manage store operations independently. My competence grew to the extent that I was not only handling daily tasks with confidence but was also entrusted with the responsibility of training new employees.
