- I first started my job at Russ’s Market when I was 16 years old taking any job, they were willing to offer me.
- I work as a Courtesy Clerk. This meant I handle heavy and fragile items and provided solution to make the heavier items lighter as well as ways to protect the fragile items.
- There would also be situation where I had to think on my feet and help a customer with finding an item or getting them an item.
- I have always loved connecting and assisting people to make their lives better and happier as I enjoy this aspect of my job.
- I have had lots of stress with this job but with my passion to help people I have managed it all.
- I also work at Cashier. This part of my job came with handling a POS system that hadn’t been updated in 21 years!
- I used and handled the equipment with care and patience.
- I also have worked in a different department in the store to help with short staffing.
- This department was an alcohol department where I was first put there on a holiday weekend and handled my new surroundings well.
- I picked up their responsibilities within a few days of working with them.
- Due to my experience and quick adjusting, I was offered a supervisor position at 19-years old.
