An organized and motivated individual, eager to utilize time management and organizational skills across diverse settings. Seeking entry-level opportunities to enhance abilities while contributing to company growth.
I started as a body tech apprentice with no previous experience. My duties involved disassembling vehicles, carefully labeling the location of bolts, clips, and other parts, and reassembling the car after painting. I was dedicated to being on time and keen to learn from the supervising technician. Gradually, I moved on to detailing, which included cleaning vehicles thoroughly, vacuuming, wiping interiors, disposing of trash, organizing the shop, and closing it at the end of the day. As a parts manager for the past two years, my role has expanded. I check invoices to ensure all billed items are received and monitor backordered parts. I order parts by VIN, make, or model, record them on invoices, and arrange them for accessibility. Additionally, I manage the parts shed, keeping track of inventory for vehicles not yet on-site. I communicate with customers over the phone, providing updates. If I'm unable to assist, I find someone who can, sometimes even delivering cars to customers' homes. I also transport customer vehicles to various sublet shops and convey our service requirements.
I enjoy playing basketball on the weekends and spending time with my family.
