  • Usually its about one weekend a month
  • In this position I work with parent to get their new babies birth certificate and social security card started
  • I am ceritifed as a notary and certified through a state program to access the ability to input information for Burth Certificates
  • There is a bunch of information needed to complete this proccess, something I have to get directly from patients, others I get from their records
  • Once I have everything, I provide the partents with information to recieve the social and birth record
  • In some situations I also am expected to complete a paternity affadavit in event that parents aren't married.

Pharmacy Technician

  • I work at Walgreens as just an as needed position, but in this position, I would receive prescriptions from doctors offices and hostpital and I would enter them into our system to start the process of a prescription fill
  • Once the pharmacist has checked that it is entered correctly it is printed out for me to fill
  • Once filled, it again is sent to the pharmacist to check it again and then once it is filled, the patient is notified that it is ready and when they come pick it up, I run through a verification proccess to make sure this person is who the prescription is for, then go through the questions they have, finally either take card payment or cash payment and its sold.

  • At IU Health, I brought patients back and roomed them for an assigned provider
  • I created relationships with patients
  • I would get patients ready to see the provider, which includes getting the respected vitals each different physican wanted
  • I would get the respected documents that corresponded with the visit for the parent that the child was being seen at
  • Once the physican was done, I would get the shots that the physican ordered, get them ready along with other supplies I would need and give the shots to the patient or if the visit was a sick visit, I would conduct either a strep, covid, flu, urine, or a mono test depending on what the physican ordered
  • Once all patients were seen for the day, I would help restock rooms, disinfect and steralize rooms, and get things ready for the following day in the office.
