
Lance Borders, a recent graduate of the University of North Georgia with a degree in International Affairs, is driven by a passion to utilize his education and leadership experiences in government relations, public policy, or as a Foreign Service Officer. As an Orientation Leader and Model UN participant, Lance has developed strong collaboration skills and the ability to navigate complex global issues. He is particularly interested in positions related to diplomacy, political consulting, and international development, where he can actively contribute to making a positive impact on global affairs.
Lance Borders is a well-rounded leader with a strong track record of academic and extracurricular achievements. He was a recipient of the James T. Palmer Scholarship Award and made the UNG Dean’s List in 2023. As a Founding Father of the Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity’s Provisional Chapter, Lance played a pivotal role in new member education. He served as a Squad Leader (SSG) in ROTC, participated in the Arabic Club, and was a member of the UNG Club Baseball Team. An Eagle Scout, Lance has led groups of 20+ scouts and held leadership roles such as Senior Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Den Chief, and Scribe, collaborating with organizations like Trees Atlanta and College Park Nursing Home on service projects.
