• Organized and ran an after school program for emotionally abused children. Implemented training for staff-mainly through example. During this time I was also a volunteer for the "Big Brother" organization, and was Big Sister to three children.

Worked in the Student Center as a volunteer for individual or family counseling. Conducted 50 minute sessions, forming goals with the clients, while ascertaining if their needs required something more than I could provide.

Assessed Client needs, and collaborated with the Trainers and Chiropractors to deliver a tailored massage. Kept a log of special needs, health issues, individual sessions and progress notes to oversee their well being.

• Managed the store, did inventory, ordered books and yoga related merchandise and did displays. Created a monthly calender of yoga classes and events that we organized . Reached out to invite authors, artisans and persons of interest to provide enrichment to our menu of events, Kept in touch with customers to notify them if an order came in or their yoga card was about to expire or if we got something in I thought they would like. Held team meetings to keep everyone on the same page.

Circle of Friends developed an idea of helping people who had not learned or developed life skills for a myriad of reasons. They rented a house for three women and myself. My task was to create a program that would facilitate that daily living learning experience. I did it for six months and it was very rewarding for all concerned.

Turned a two bedroom cottage in to a store selling, making and refurbishing decorator items and furniture. We also offered interior design as well as furniture refinishing services to our customers which I did. My daughter, was instructed and mentored by me to do the bookeeping, sales and buying.

• Top seller of new home construction communities in OC, LA and Inland Empire. Assisted prospective homeowners by taking them onsight after their information was filled out and they'd viewed the models. Kept info cards to build a base and reached out frequently. Worked to obtain new leads, cold called, dropped off brochures, looked for investors to buy the models and offered Realtors a percentage to bring their clients. Wrote purchase agreements and served as a liazon between customers and our lender, Escrow and Title companies. Went to meetings weekly and attended many workshops and training sessions. Walked the New Homeowners through their whole home buying experience.

• Self motivated to help those who require their houses emptied out. Procured clients through advertising and word of mouth. Wrote up contracts while getting to know the situation and assisted emotionally if necessary. Checked values on expensive items. Went through and cleaned up house while making vignettes and tagging items. In some cases, called collectors or museums, advertised, put up signs and sold the merchandise. Donated the remaining items to different charities, emptied and cleaned the home.

Assisted with daily living chores. Monitored health prepared medications and administered them. Drove to doctors and hospitals, kept track of appointments, records and made new appointments. Kept them safely mobile. Communicated with whatever social service needs they had and followed through. Played games to keep their minds working.
