Ensure the proforma invoice matches with the inspection order opened overseas
Locate the closest inspector to the inspection site that has experience inspecting the particular type of product for the order being coordinated
Ensure the inspector has all the updated field forms to use
Assign the work order to the inspector and send them the complete inspection criteria along with the supporting documents needed during inspection
Open the physical inspection file in the company’s IUPSI computer system every time an inspection is coordinated
Enter all data regarding the physical inspection requested
Disseminate information concerning PSI (preshipment inspection) contract procedures to exporters or other parties requesting information
Answer and send queries from the Liaison office
Provide customers with information on inspection status
Primary point of contact for inspectors who are having difficulties / issues while out in the field performing inspections
First level support to handle issues on a case by case basis
Receive and enter inspection reports
Quality check reports against supporting documentation for errors in packing, weight, container or seal information
Review inspector invoices for accuracy and process inspector payments
Keep track of inspections paid along with those pending payments.
