I worked my way up through all positions at Corner Bakery. This included server, cashier, expo, the three stations in the kitchen, and baker/dishwasher. After training and working these positions, I was promoted to management. As manager, I was able to receive instructions, suggestions, and orders and fill them in a multitasking and prompt way. I worked with a diverse group of people. I was able to interact with them on a daily basis. I gave instructions, suggestions, and orders in a courteous and respectful manner, while promoting teamwork. I engaged a lot with customer service. I talked with them, made sure they were satisfied and having a pleasant experience. I received complements, as well as complaints. I was able to find out what the problem was and provide a solution. I supervised daily operations to ensure efficient service and food quality by talking with the staff about job performance and encouraging satisfactory operational skills. I was involved in some of the managing of inventory levels and coordinated supply orders to meet demand.
