Currently, I am a junior studying Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I have attended this University since 2019 and am looking to graduate within the next year. For a little over 4 years I worked at Brawley Animal Hospital as a kennel attendant. I was responsible for taking care of animals while they boarded, feeding, watering, and cleaning up after them as well as administering medication and monitoring health conditions as needed. As I gained experience, I was also put in charge of important tasks such as stocking and recording inventory, reaching out to clients to discuss their pets medical histories, providing customer service, and helping with hands on medical care of animals. I recently left the animal hospital in December for a better job opportunity working for The Hemp Doctor, a company owned by my family. In the few short months I have worked there I have already been able to become a Warehouse Associate and Customer Service Representative on top of my daily tasks of preparing and sending out orders for the company. I regularly take phone calls regarding any questions customers may have, help them with any product mishaps, and handle calls directly to customers when their orders cannot be fulfilled. I also maintain an organized work environment by making sure each product is placed in an orderly fashion when stocked, keep track of stock, and record what needs to be made. Combined, I believe that these two jobs have given me excellent customer service skills, organizational skills, a knack for patient care, and a strong work ethic.
