My reception job consisted of me completing multiple tasks. For example checking in patients in , in office and via telemedicine, checking them out and rescheduling appts if needed. I would also scrub for the next day get patients alerts, medication list, consents if they needed to be updated or wellness paperwork for their physicals. I would also send text reminders every morning to our 45min appts. I took a course while working there to become a medical interpreter and completed and started interpreting as well as being a receptionist. I would interpret at least 8 visits a day, some would be in person and others via telemedicine.

While I was a waitress I would greet people at the entrance, seat them down and offer them beverages. During covid since the restaurant was buffet style they changed things up a bit where we would have to serve the food for them. Some people liked it others didn’t and some customers left due to some changes. I also started closing down the restaurant and counting the money of the night and also taking money out of the slots machines and that money needed to be counted and also entered in the computer. I really enjoyed it because I would be talking to different customers and everyday was different. Then unfortunately covid hit and they shut down the restaurant one normal day while we had a couple of people eating inside. They asked us if we knew any people in need of food to donate all the food that was stored.
