Volunteer work and community outreach

  • I assist with stocking and organizing the clothing and food pantry at 36th Church of Christ in Vienna, WV.
  • I organize a Christmas toy drive from my home that I began in 2015 after the Christmas Toy Ministry at First Baptist Williamstown came to an end due to budget restraints. The main focus is for the working poor and the families that simply need a break from thee stress that comes along with the holidays. I am a firm believer that when a person is down on their luck sometimes all they need is a little bit of help and a listening ear. In this outreach, it goes way beyond the Christmas gifts. I use this as an opportunity to learn and understand the true needs of a family and use the connection to also see other ways my circle of friend, supporters, amy family and myself can further offer support and fill where a need exist when at all possible.
