Ensure compliance with HIPAA and infection control protocols, support nursing staff with preop patient care, performing basic tests such as blood glucose levels and IV's for sedation patients, assist with sedation patients in PACU as needed, provide scrub assistance to physicians performing minor/major surgical procedures, operate X-ray C-arm for patient procedures, assist with post op follow up patient care, maintain accurate data entry and patient charting in electronic health record system, inspect and ensure medical equipment is sterile and in proper working order to be used for patient care, maintain inventory logs, order medical supplies and restock exam rooms as required, provide exceptional patient healthcare service
