As the Barista Shift-Lead, I create a welcoming and hospitable environment where customers feel comfortable, valued, and heard. My responsibilities as a Shift-Lead extend to inventory and stock, money management, and ensuring food safety practices. Overall the role requires a lot of time management and conflict resolution skills.

Under the supervision of the RN, I assisted patients with activities of daily living. As a part of the float pool, my role extended to clerical coordinating which involved filing, breaking down charts, coordinating the assignments with the Charge Nurse, and maintaining stock on the unit. Additionally, I monitored vital signs, set up patients for EKG monitoring, and transported patients.

Under the supervision of the RN, I assisted in multiple departments including ICU, Post-Partum, Telemetry, and the Emergency Department. My responsibilities varied day to day: One day I would screen and greet visitors, and on another I'd be assisting and transporting patients on the units. Additionally, I'd train new nurse assistants in clerical duties that pertained to the front desk.
