Award-winning Sales Professional from Reed Hyundai Of Kansas City, adept in customer retention and product knowledge, led sales by selling 213 cars in a year. Excelled in objection handling and customer service, learning from diverse sales styles at Riverton Chevrolet. Recognized for unparalleled dedication to the automotive industry and quick learning abilities.
Combining customer service, product knowledge, sales expertise, and client retention to not only provide the best car buying experience at my dealership, but to have people trust their family, friends, co-workers, etc to be their forever salesperson. I have been with the Reed organization for 3 years exactly, and have been a salesperson for the entire time. In 2023 I was able to earn Salesperson of the Year amongst my piers. The categories judged for this accomplishment included total units, front-end gross, how well my finance team did, and survey grading. I sold a total of 213 cars last year leading my store by almost 30 cars. One of the two strongest characteristics that I have is being able to bring customers back after a visit or repeat business from previously sold clients, and product knowledge. I am a VERY quick learner making product training a strong suite of mine. One thing I can say about myself that separates myself from other salespeople is that I am a car person through and through. Not only am I doing this for a job, but this is what I love to do.
This was my introduction into the sales side of the car industry. I began to learn how CRM's worked, how to communicate with customers, and how to negotiate. I started this position when Covid began and didn't have the opportunity I wish I could have had to continue there. I moved to Kansas City after this to be closer to family and live somewhere more affordable. I was on a sales team of about 18 people, being able to learn several different sales styles while shadowing.
Learned the in's and out's of the car dealership between the sales and service side of the business. I went from a lot technician to detailer and paint corrector after a few months. By the time I finished the position (then going into sales) I became the lead paint corrector and automotive detailer. Not only learning the tedious work of paint correction, but being able to listen to clients and bid different detailing jobs. We did services as small as an "Express Detail" including wash, dry, vacuum, interior wipe-down, and cleaning the windows, and as large as a "Full Detail" including a cut, polish, wax/ ceramic coating, interior extraction, headliner cleaning, engine bay detailing, underbody cleaning, and everything the express detail included.
