In summary I have a long history of office work from working with attorneys to government to newspaper industry. I want to add that I have more than an associates degree because I continued education at Bloomsburg University one semester short of a degree in communication, however my family was growing and relocating to Virginia due to job opportunities which I also applied and was accepted to George Mason University to complete degree but it’s complicated and just needed to note that extra effort to pursue however life gets in the way.
As an administrative assistant for Defense medical mal practice team of lawyers my job consisted of typing depositions scheduling appointments for clients answering incoming calls, filing briefs and keeping library up to date and organized. Incidental duties prepared conference room for client meetings also trips to courthouse to pick up or deliver motions.
I also am a published author of book entitled My Favorite Girl, Awarded the NAACP Author of year Award in 2013, I was member of Who’s Who in continuing adult education in Journalism Award and also won a scholarship award at LCCC.
