  • Over the course of summer 2023, I worked full time at Homegoods where I served as an assistant to the construction team as they renovated our store.
  • Prior to this summer, I was responsible for training new associates in teaching them how to flow and categorize new shipments of merchandise onto the sales floor. In addition, I was responsible for teaching new associates how to properly clean the store and ensure a safe and healthy environment for the next day's business.
  • I also provided constant customer service as I was always available on the sales floor to solve any concerns with the customer and answer any questions presented.

  • Was responsible for customers' groceries and ensuring they ended up where they needed to be after they had been purchased
  • This job was purely customer service and I learned how to handle situations of unhappy customers responsibly and maturely.
  • I also developed cleaning skills, as every night we had a routine of vacuuming, wiping down all surfaces, cleaning off carts, and straightening up all of the product within the store.

  • I was selected to intern at Animal Care Hospital for about three months over the summer where I learned, observed, and assisted with paperwork regarding new pets coming in, and taking the animals' samples.
  • Aside from this, I also watched in on numerous animal surgeries and assisted the veterinarian and technicians with their tools and cleaning supplies when in operation.
