  • Converted 120 acres enrolled in the Wetland Reserve Program back into a natural state in partnership with Oregon Fish & Wildlife, US Fish & Wildlife and NRCS (Natural Resources Conservation Service).
  • Work included spraying, clipping, tilling, planting native trees and shrubs, reintroducing native grasses, forbs and habitat restoration for species on the Endangered Species Act list. The land included approximately 1.5 miles of riparian restoration and 7 ponds both seasonal and year round.
  • Introduced an endangered fish, Oregon Chub, into the ponds and contributed (working with the partners listed above) in the success of taking the fish off the endangered species list.
  • Maintain wetlands, timber stands and native prairies.
