• Assisted in the identification and classification of ceramic sherds from Mesoamerican archaeological sites. Recorded artifact data and organized it into a digital database for ongoing research and analysis. Gained hands-on experience in artifact handling, typology, and research documentation.

• Engaged in a pivotal project supported by NIH funding, aimed at elucidating the impact of virtual reality interventions on enhancing relational dynamics between older adults and their adult children.

• This project explores the transformative potential of small talk 9jnnavigating isolation and relational trauma. My role entailed the comprehensive review and coding of participants' nonverbal behaviors.

• Social Complexity in the Maya Lowlands (in Progress)

Designed and conducted an independent research project analyzing how capital investment in monumental architecture reflects the development of political hierarchy at El Pilar. Used ceramic data to establish construction chronology and examined settlement growth to understand labor mobilization and elite power materialization in ancient Maya society.

• Ethnographic Research Project – Multiracial Identity and Heritage Language

conducted a class-based ethnographic research project exploring how multiracial

individuals navigate identity when their self-perception differs from external

categorizations. Focused on the role of heritage language as both a tool for

affirming cultural belonging and a source of exclusion when fluency is limited.
