Designed and conducted an independent research project analyzing how capital investment in monumental architecture reflects the development of political hierarchy at El Pilar. Used ceramic data to establish construction chronology and examined settlement growth to understand labor mobilization and elite power materialization in ancient Maya society.

  • Ethnographic Research Project – Multiracial Identity and Heritage Language

conducted a class-based ethnographic research project exploring how multiracial

individuals navigate identity when their self-perception differs from external

categorizations. Focused on the role of heritage language as both a tool for

affirming cultural belonging and a source of exclusion when fluency is limited.
