Union treasurer for 2 years, Union representative for 3 years, Substitute teacher many times

As a trusted member of our union, I was asked to take the role as treasurer for the union for two years. I was responsible for making deposits and writing checks in the union account, issuing financial reports, as well as tax filing requirements. As a union representative for 3 years, I held building meetings with members, reminded fellow members of policies, listened to grievances and advised them to other members or administrators if necessary.

Also, I was assigned as a substitute teacher many times over the years when substitutes were unavailable. I was also given the task of covering for the secretary for one hour per day.

Currently, I am serving as treasurer for Central Square Essentials for Success, Inc. This is a program that supplies students from economically challenged families with extra food essential.
