I was asked to join Plaza Bank to aid them in returning to profitability after receiving a consent order due to poor credit decisions by their prior credit team. My responsibilities included:

• Completion of audits of all current Commercial and Commerical Real Estate loan credit files and obtaining updated financial information for regulatory audits.
• Prepare loan documents and close loans with bank customers.
• Review title, insurance and surveys for compliance with bank policies.
• Train other loan employees on all areas of banking regulatory requirements.
• Track and maintain required Asset Based reports for Commercial clients; adjusting line of credit availability based on report results.
• Work with SBA customers to meet all requirements for successful small business loan closings.
• Build bank client confidence by using good communication skills and professionalism.

After the bank had successfully passed their regulatory audits, I made the decision to return to my position at EverBank.

My responsibilities as a Commercial Loan Closer during this period were the same as outlined above under my current position with Everbank, N.A..

• Promoted and led performance enhancement culture by actively coaching and managing 44 Commercial Loan Assistants in Washington, Oregon and California.
• Coordinated enhancements of the bank's loan data system and the training of the Loan Officers and Loan Assistants on proper use of the system.
• Prepared loan documentation and closed loans for bank Commercial, CRE, Construction SBA and Special Asset Departments.
• Wrote and maintained standard operating procedures for Consumer and Commercial Lending Teams including compliance and banking regulations.
