Able to read and understand Blueprints and Engineering drawings, Various hand and power tool usage and maintenance, Operation of straight mast and extendable boom forklift up to 15,000 pounds, Layout piping systems and supports, Fabricate and install pipe supports according to the isometric drawing/ blueprint of the piping system, Prepare piping joints for welding and post/ pre-weld Quality Control inspection, Piping maintenance on active and non-product systems, Some heavy equipment maintenance, Modify or rework piping spools and supports as needed according to revised Engineering drawings upon approval of work and acceptance of revised drawings, Experience with welding, grinding, burning (torch and arc gouging), signaling/ moving materials with cranes, full and partial acid suits, supplied breathing air and numerous respirators, working inside or around boilers/ towers/ large industrial equipment and structures. Keep work area clean, organized, and free of health hazards. Unload materials and equipment from vendor trucks using cranes or forklifts into the material yard. Organize materials and equipment into appropriate storage conditions based on yard layout and equipment needs. Pull material according to material requisition, load onto contractor transport using forklifts or cranes, and send to construction unit upon supervisor approval. Inventory bolts/ hardware, piping spools, supports, and equipment as needed. Keep work area organized and free of hazards.
