Complete a clinically sound crisis assessment to clients who are in crisis at a hospital or office setting. Respond in a timely manner to requests from physicians, nurses, nurse case managers, or others to complete a thorough crisis assessment and make recommendations for discharge or level of care. Demonstrates the ability to assess client’s with mental health disorders, substance abuse, and/or suicidal/homicidal behavior and provide immediate crisis intervention. Determine a a specific level of care, coordinate/facilitate those services and provide excellent customer service follow up care to providers.

Ability to work with all populations including children, developmentally disabled and those with serious mental illness

Manage the floor of crisis professionals to direct crisis calls to the appropriate person, take police calls for high acuity callers, staff with crisis professionals for most appropriate clinical outcome, coordinate with agencies for the best interest of clients. Triage members for the most appropriate care advice for their situation

• Provide mental health services to undocumented minors in a shelter facility.
• Assessments, screenings, and weekly sessions to help client manage and cope until reunified with family.
• Provided therapy and guidance to undocumented Spanish speaking minors.
• The program aids undocumented minors with housing and support through the Office of Refugee resettlement.

• Home and school based outpatient therapy with children, adolescents, and their families.
• Includes home visits, case notes, treatment planning, collaboration with psychiatrists, juvenile justice system, and DCS.
• Facilitate and participate in child and family team meetings, mentoring others regarding direct client care.
• Provided guidance and training to staff regarding best practices in mental health Esperanza program: Provided therapy and guidance to undocumented Spanish speaking minors.
• The program aids undocumented minors with housing and support through the Office of Refugee resettlement.
