  • Established relationships with patients through consistent and meaningful communication regarding specific exercises/stretching that would benefit the patient, but also guiding the patient to a more healthy lifestyle, even if it was uncomfortable for the patient.
  • Assisted in patient care activities such as treadmill, stair climb, exercise bike, rowing and other walking/jogging exercise related activities. Would take the patient's blood pressure and O2 levels during physical activity, as well as monitoring the patients EKG during exercise.
  • Communicated with the nurses regarding patient performance and condition through vitals taken during a 3 round exercise regime.
  • Taught the cardiopulmonary rehab entry class for new patients. 45 minutes to an hour class on what the rehab would entail and what our expectations would be.
