Accomplishments

As a Spanish Tutor and Teacher Aid in my former college, I successfully assisted students improve their language skills leading to significant advancements in their fluency and comprehension. I also supported the lead instructor for American Sign language by facilitating the communication and enhancing the learning experience for the students. For Spanish, my contributions including helping students practice day to day conversations, providing one-on-one assistance, and ensuring a supportive ane inclusive classroom.

For American Sign Language, I facilitated effective communication by interpreting spoken language into ASL and vice versa. This ensured that the faculty member could fully comprehend if a student had a specific question for clarification. Because of these moments, I was awarded the Founders Service Award for 2017-2018 for my exceptional services, recognizing my dedication and contributions to enhancing accessibility and support for students as well as faculty members.
