Working on-site as a construction laborer has provided me with a multitude of useful and effective skills. This job has allowed me to build upon skills such as paying attention to detail, being a team player to reach the desired outcome, honest and thoughtful work, and most of all the ability to learn and be passionate about the work you've accomplished. I have been fortunate enough to work with people who care about my growth not only as professional but a person as well. This job has given me the opportunity to relate to the hard workers in the construction industry and learn the on-site necessities to ensuring the customer receives their desired outcome. During my time as a construction laborer here are some key responsibilities that I have performed:

• Operated a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks such as sawing, drilling, hammering, and excavating.
• Displayed high standards for quality workmanship and routinely double-checked work.
• Dug ditches or trenches, backfilled excavations or compacted and leveled earth to grade specifications.
• Learned and mastered skilled trade specialties under guidance of expert mentors.
• Worked productively, diligently, and honestly to drive customer satisfaction.

During the summer after my 2nd year of college I decided to gain experience in sales and was able to get a job with Bellhop Moving Company in Chattanooga, TN. This role allowed me to build my communication skills with customers and provide customers with exactly what they were looking for. Using the Salesforce Software, I was able to provide customers with accurate quotes while making sure I was delivering accurate and useful information to them regarding their move. This job allowed me to develop the skill of descriptive selling and effective customer communication. Performed responsibilities during this role:

• Provided quotes for prospective customers based on their needs and budget requirements.
• Responded to customer inquiries quickly and professionally to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Followed up with prospects who had expressed interest in our products or services.
• Utilized CRM software to manage customer accounts and track sales performance metrics.
• Generated sales through outbound calling and lead follow-up efforts using scripts and other phone techniques.

I decided to get a job as a server not only to have a flexible work schedule around my class schedule but to be able to provide hospitality and interact with people with many different backgrounds. During my time in the restaurant industry as a server, I gained valuable experience that has allowed me to build the following skills: active listening, multitasking, attention to detail, and communication. Working as a server allowed me to work on a team and lend a helping hand to my co-workers, as well as ask for help from them when needed. Responsibilities performed during this role:

• Greeted customers, answered questions and recommended specials to increase profits.
• Responded efficiently to guest inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
• Displayed enthusiasm and knowledge about restaurant's menu and products.
• Communicated effectively with kitchen staff regarding customer allergies or special requests.
• Ensured that each guest was served courteously, quickly, and efficiently.

Working as a flag football ref throughout high school allowed me to have a job related to a sport that I was very passionate about. I looked at the opportunity of being a flag football ref as giving back to my community and being there for the kids, to ensure they were playing the game the way it is meant to be played; with sportsmanship and passion. This role allowed me to problem solve, resolve conflict, have courage, uphold integrity, and make quick decisions that I was confident in. This role also allowed me to be uncomfortable and grow in my ability to accept criticism when being confronted on a call that a coach or parent didn't agree with. I was able to effectively explain to them why I made certain calls based on my fair judgment.

• Monitored play to ensure that it was conducted in accordance with established rules and regulations of the sport.
• Maintained a safe environment by enforcing all applicable rules and regulations of the game.
• Explained decisions made on field if requested by coaches or spectators in an understandable manner.
