JazzStand on Abrams, formerly known as Tuesday Nite Jazz, is the longest running free jazz concert series in Dallas thanks to generous support from past sponsors and grantors including Allie Beth Allman & Associates, TACA, The Harry W. Bass, Jr., Foundation, The City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs. As a co-founder of the organization, I coordinate with founding partner to write grants to fund the organization. JazzStand, then Tuesday Nite Jazz, received a $10,000 grant from TACA, making our organization the smallest grantee in TACA's history. I wrote a grant and was awarded $5,000 from Comerica Bank.
