I had the opportunity to be one of District Eleven's Our Promise Team (OPT) representatives from February 2022 until 2024. I was given the chance to collaborate with other OPT member on ways to excited and uplift our districts, acknowledge accomplishments and be creative with engagement opportunities. The personal task that I primarily overtook was sending out a monthly calendar with the "national days" (ex: national wear pink day on June 23rd). Which was a fun way to as stores and districts come together and celebrate the little things. In addition I would send out a "monthly mental health moment". This would consist of a motivational thought or quote, a few words surrounding the idea that everyone matters and just a reminder to be the change you want to see in the world. It was a fun and eye opening experience that I truly enjoyed.
