Passions

When one asks me what I'm passionate about, my answer is far from simple. As a small child, I had absolutely no idea where life would take me. That is, until I was diagnosed with Pediatric Psoriatic Arthritis at the age of nine. After practically putting my childhood on pause, I spent the next six years in and out of hospitals and doctors offices. In the moment, I was in pain and struggling, but now looking back on my journey and where I am today I am so thankful for those who helped me. With that said, I want to do all I can to give back to that community, which is why I'm dedicating my life to helping others. In the long run, I plan to go into the health care field and help others seek their full potential, just as my doctor's did for me once upon a time. But as for right now, I try to do all I can to give back and help those in my community, as well as those in need. This includes giving to the homeless, paying it forward, and even starting my own pet service business to offer help to those who need a place for their animals to stay while they are away. All of these actions stem back to my love for helping others. Unlike most, I don't see working a job as a chore or a bother, for I find joy in talking to complete strangers and assisting them with whatever they may need. Why? It is because at the end of the day if I can say I made at least one person's day a little bit brighter, I can be happy.
