  • Described how hFIS1 regulates mitochondrial fission via homo-oligomerization at the mitochondrial outer membrane. Using a panel of chimeric constructs identified the specific oligomerization domain as the second TPR motif of hFIS1.
  • Identified and characterized a panel of of unique proline-rich peptides binding and inhibiting the mitochondrial fission function of hFis1.
