• Held daily huddles with providers to talk about needs of their patients and how I could assist
• Worked closely with providers to help reach out to their patients to close care gaps

• Obtained patient vital signs of both mom and baby and reported results to staff nurse

• Performed variety of delegated basic patient care services to support nursing functions and activities of daily living.
• Participated a lot in newborn care of bathing, sugars, vitals, CCHD's, PKU's, etc.

• Answered call lights, bells or intercom systems to determine patient needs.
• Observed and reported unusual symptoms and changes to charge nurse.
• Conducted routine checks on patient vitals, blood pressure, blood sugar and heart rate.
• Facilitated activities of daily living, personal hygiene management, feeding and ambulation.

• Attended leadership meetings discussing how to work more efficiently as a team and how to be more thorough in the work
• Helped manage employees by answering questions and providing guidance in different situations, as well as assigned out cases everyday to the disease investigation team
• Spoke to the public educating them on protocol for the current COVID recommendations and conducted interviews with the public
• Worked on Data entry projects as well as gained experience with many different programs including excel, microsoft, USIIS, and Epitrax
