• Senior year of high school I took up the opportunity to volunteer for the Nappanee Parks Dept. This included, two days at the senior center, one day at the city hall and two days at the parks department.
• At the senior center I would form bonds with the seniors, put together puzzles with them and play other games. Sometimes I would help organize the center and clean as well. Before I would leave to go to school, I would prepare lunches for them and serve it.
• City hall consisted of cleaning out old rooms and going through audits and marking dates.
• At the Parks Dept I would run errands like putting up fliers for events around town. I would take part in creating these fliers as well. I also cleaned and stocked concession stands and clean offices.
