  • Bagger: This was the groundwork of my customer interactions. As a bagger I engaged frequently with customers by locating goods they were searching for and assisting them in vehicle loading. While helping in daily operations, especially at high-volume customer days, my supervisor promoted me to a cashier position.
  • Cashier: Being a cashier, I focused more on my customer service responsibilities. As I worked the register, I used scanning devices, technology, and my mathematical skills to my advantage. I was given the responsibility and trust from my supervisor to handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Service Desk Associate: Once I graduated high school in 2020, I worked full time. During this transition, I became third person in charge/supervisor. This gave me open availability and the ability to transfer anywhere within districts around my location that higher officials decided upon. During my time in this position, I oversaw Western Union money wiring, ran the floors front end workers, set break schedules for employees, balanced cashier’s drawers, resolved cashier/customer conflicts, and filled lottery machines in an accurate/organized system. Towards my more recent workdays, I counted drawers at the end of the night to make sure no register was under or over their expected amounts, I ordered any necessities the front end needed, balanced expenses, dealt with GARDA (money being delivered to the store) to make sure it was collected, all accounted for and entered into the system properly, and more importantly kept a clean, organized functionally running workstation/environment.
