Resilient Florida - Grant Manager - Florida Department of Environmental Protection

• Working closely with Grantees to help prepare, protect, and assist their communities, waterways, and coastlines that are susceptible to climate change issues such as sea level rise and intensified storms and flooding.
• Managing 37 planning and resiliency projects using State and Federal funding sources through pre-award to closeout stages. Create, review, and execute agreement documents. Approve procurement policies, executed subcontracts, and task deliverables. Complete procurement, audit, and payment reimbursement reviews to ensure compliance.
• Other operational duties include: Organizing client meetings; Facilitating communication; Tracking project schedules and budgets; Identifying areas for improvement, etc.
• Managed multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality output.

Hazard Mitigation Grant Program - Project Manager - Florida Department of Emergency Management

• Project Manager to 5 Florida Department of Emergency Management projects. Developing HMGP documentation such as agreements, reimbursements, quarterly reports, and extensions. Providing support for completion of grant process by developing deliverable documentation that support grant activities.

• Assist with developing project scope and schedule, budget management, scope change and modification requests
• Provide support with task management, project tracking, document management, invoicing, invoice review, requests for reimbursement
• Communications protocol management and communication of grant program requirements to clients, fellow staff, and other partners
• Other minor duties include - Preparation of project status and update materials, development, and management of SOPs as needed, procurement review and documentation of compliance, closeout and audit support, and grant application development and monitoring of funding.

• Emergency Management Specialist (Economic Support) for the Region 1 COVID-19 Long Term Recovery Task Force. Primarily serving as the Economic Data Lead.
• Created and produced data dashboards containing GIS maps outlining indicators specifically requested by the state recovery stakeholders and solution-based team sector experts.
• Worked alongside MIT Lincoln Labs to provide more easily visible data dashboards for the state of Massachusetts.
• Served as Supervisory Liaison to Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts to coordinate and track Long-Term Recovery operations/projects with state partners and officials.
• Creating, presenting, and distributing presentations, spreadsheets, and essential documents to State Officials/partners as well as Federal Officials (EDA, SBA, BIA, DOL, DOT, NOAA, USACE, HHS).
• Coordinated and constructed work groups that include subject matter experts within Federal Organizations that administer funding opportunities.
• Worked with the Small Business Administration to create GIS maps tracking Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) penetration rates throughout the state of Vermont. These maps established new tracking policies for the SBA.

• Worked as a part of the Security Operations Center for Lonza Pharma&Biotech. Assisted with day-to-day security operations and procedures, building patrol, reception, and mobile patrol while following Securitas Security Services protocol.
