Prepare Examination/procedure room, ensure patient safety, measure and record vital signs, identify/document/report abnormal signs and symptoms, assist provider with examination, prepare patient for procedures, administer first aid and wound care, identify and respond to emergency situations, review provider discharge instructions, pt education, operate EMR/EMH system, collection of blood/stool/urine samples/cultures, perform CLIA-waived testing such as flu, mono, strep, UA, and Covid, perform vision and hearing tests, process and handle collected specimens, clarify and relay communication to patients, and facilitate and promote teamwork in the healthcare setting.

Currently as of 12/7/25 have accumulated over 1200hrs in acute patient care in the urgent care setting.

Escorts patients to exam rooms, prepares patients for exams by taking histories and explaining procedures, Conducts and documents patient intake, Assists in dermatologic procedures (biopsies, excisions, phototherapy, cosmetic treatments) using sterile techniques, Supports routine lab tests (e.g., skin scrapings, swabs), Apply topical treatments or dressings under provider supervision, Sterilizes instruments and keeps exam rooms clean by safety standards
Uploads and maintains pathology, AK, MOHS, and FBX logs, Verifies pathology log details (patient info, diagnosis, site, lab routing), Keeps cancer logs current and accurate, Stocks rooms, monitors supplies, and alerts managers when low, Maintains strict patient confidentiality and Captures clinical photos for documentation and comparison.
