During a normal day on day shift, we
were required to pass ice, perform hourly changes/turns, give showers/bed baths to residents on their
certain days, pass breakfast/lunch trays, feed residents who could not do so themselves, with a partner
we would get up/ or lay down residents who needed the assistance of the hoyer lifts to get in and out
of bed, charting on the residents ADLS, ect.

Working As an STNA at the Harmar Place, I was attending the Washington County Career center, and
received my STNA before I graduated, allowing me to qualify for the program in which I attended work,
instead of attending my classes at the Career center
I was a float aid, working between three different
units ( LTC, Rehabilitation, and Memory Care)
This allowed me to have experience working with all
different types of care with the residents
My main duties on the job everyday included hourly changes
on incontinent residents, providing showers/bed baths and getting the residents dressed and ready
for their day, preparing the residents for breakfast and lunch, Range of Motion excercises, and online
charting through POC.
