Manage daily operations of Miner Tech and Cleaning teams to ensure high performance, adherence to safety protocols, and continuous improvement.
Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and assessments to support team progression through the Miner Tech competency matrix.
Lead board-level repairs of Bitcoin miners and coordinate with external service providers to maintain high-quality outcomes.
Oversee installation, removal, and relocation of mining equipment, ensuring seamless transitions and documentation.
Train and mentor team members in technical troubleshooting, using tools such as Grafana and Foreman for diagnostics and performance analysis.
Develop and maintain accurate work documentation, including equipment lifecycle tracking and repair logs.
Ensure safety compliance according to the IREN Safety Manual, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
Support facility repair operations and assist the Technical Lead with developing maintenance plans, training programs, special project execution and performance standards.
Facilitate effective cross-functional communication with field operations, design teams, and stakeholders across IREN sites.
Prioritize and allocate resources to maximize uptime and hash rate, consistently aligning with or exceeding company benchmarks.
Monitor hash rate, power usage efficiency, and other key metrics using telemetry platforms and custom dashboards.
Motivate team to achieve output by providing timely feedback on performance.
Provide technical advice to Miner Repair Technician team as required.
Plan & organize installation, removal, and movement of miners according to requirements.
Manages performance of team members as required in terms of productivity, conduct, timekeeping & punctuality.
Oversee and optimize the performance of ASIC miners (e.g., Antminer S19, T21 and S21 series.) across multiple megawatts of deployed capacity.
Maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation for all work performed. including miner tracking databases through miner movements & lifecycle
Maintain proper documentation and track repairs using our work order system.
Develop and/or implement short- and long-term maintenance plans, strategies, training programs and standards.
Conducting regular inspections of the work environment and equipment to identify potential issues and make repairs as needed.
Prioritize, plan and allocate resources and teams capabilities to maximize up time and hash rate to achieve or exceed targets set by the business
