• For me, Patient care is my top priority. I care so much for my patient. I also can relate to my patients in some way or another. I love learning new things in the medical field and I want to learn more.

• I was working at Desert Skys home health and one of my patients was transferring to hospice. Each one of my patients have a special spot in my heart. I get a phone call from the manager Tina from high Desert hospice saying that one of my patients will not transfer over unless they have me as their CNA. So they offered me a job right on the spot and of course I excepted working both jobs. Oh that feeling of joy happiness love compassion empathy was an amazing feeling to experience knowing that I made such an impact on someone's life and they chose me to fill their needs as their CNA/CHHA. I feel like it's a really great accomplishment and a very natural character within myself to have experienced. Which made it that much clear to me that I am in the correct line of work. And to further my education and knowledge as best as I can and also to share to whomever wants to listen and utilize my skill set and my knowledge for their own benefit.

• CAN/CHHA ADL

• Caretaker ADLs, wound care, IV antibiotic, adult diaper changes, feeding tube feedings, bathing, doctors appointments, medications, catheter assist, grooming, just every day needs

• Patient insurance verification, answering patient calls, vitals, customer service, computer EMR, radiology knowledge, ( x-ray, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, pet scan, ultrasound, mammogram, breast biopsy, triaging patients, always making sure patients were satisfied with their appointment.
