Collaborative leader, with a bachelors degree in Law and concentration in International human rights law. Consistently translating my expertise and professional experience into capacity building, program development and implementation as well as, impact driven advocacy constitutes my greatest passion.

  • Managed and supervised administrative and daily program operations, complying with policies and regulations.
  • Established strong relationships with key stakeholders including UNFPA, UNDP, UNICEF, Red Cross, etc; ensuring support for program initiatives.
  • Developed strategic plans, setting clear objectives and achievable milestones for the team, incorporating ideas of the rest of the staff, to encourage freedom of thinking.
  • Managed cross-functional teams for successful project completion within deadlines and budgets.
  • Instrumental to the successful, development, implementation and evaluation of all projects including but not limited to our, school ambassadors initiative, End FGM campaign, accelerator project for women entrepreneurs, uncomplicated coffee project to tackle GBV, to name a few.
  • Directly impacted the lives of over 1000s of high schools girls through leadership trainings, mentorship, and public speaking workshops.
  • Guided three cohorts of school ambassadors consisting of at least 10 senior school students develop and implement community initiatives solving an underlying community issue affecting women.
  • Raised over half a million in Gambian currency to support the successful implementation of the woman boss girls in leadership, mother daughter brunch and accelerator program for women entrepreneurs through grants and fundraising.
  • Developed training manuals and tools to improve staff capacity in project management, monitoring and evaluation.
  • Represented the company in high level panels, external and or international functions.
