As a transportation lead, ensured the smooth operation of shifts on a daily basis, staffing associates in a variety of roles, ensuring trainings were complete, conducted daily and monthly safety audits, developed game plans and worked with other department heads in ensuring plans aligned. Worked on coaching associates and/or 3rd party carriers as warranted.

• Mentored multiple associates in earning their promotions during 2022.
• Piloted secondary securement program which improved the safety, cost, and sustainability of secondary securement on trailer doors
• Supported site during two peak season high volume events in which site ranked in top 2 in volume in the entire network.

Performed hostlers moves, moving trailers on/off warehouse dock doors, conducted yard audits, and performed guard shack duties, checking drivers in/out.

• Averaged roughly 50 hostler moves per shift, ensuring trailers moved to dock doors were 100% over the road compliant/safe during entire time in position.
• Served in stretch-leadership role as driver for nine months, incurring zero late departures in that timeframe.

Served as product quality control by resolving ticket queue due to customer complaint involving inventory. Performed process improvements of standard work to improve safety and productivity.

• Piloted a process improvement change which reduced the potential of safety hazards while helping reduce time off task function, leading to a 33% overall improvement in productivity across all shifts.

Performed a variety of warehouse associate duties, including but not limited to unloading trailers, receiving products, serving as inbound dock clerk, and performing inventory counts.

• Worked on site liquidation project when warehouse transformed site type over a 6 month period, responsible for leading 20+ associates to pick, record, load, and ship products, coordinating shipment to other fulfillment centers.
