Ithaca

Summary

My background has provided me with many skills that will transfer well to working with Tompkins Chamber's Visit Ithaca.

Planning trips, excursions, and vacations has long been a personal strong interest. It reflects the "other side" of my personality in contrast to providing support to others through the Human Services. Throughout the 25 years of my consistent and dedicated employment in Tompkins County, my recreation has consisted of planning my and my husband's trips. On weekends, we have found a myriad of one-day excursions or weekend getaways. With my daughter living in New Orleans, and my son living in St. Augustine, Florida, researching the sights and unique features in those areas has always been included. I even planned to trip to Bali, by way of Hong Kong, for my daughter and myself, when she was teaching in China after she graduated from college. Most recently, I planned a two week excursion in London, UK, with a side trip to Glastonbury. Travel will always be a passion, although I appreciate that we are so fortunate to live in a very beautiful part of the world in the glorious Finger Lakes, and I happen to be an enthusiastic Ithaca booster.
