Summary

As a mechanical engineering student at UW-Madison who was a direct admit into the Engineering program, I have a strong appreciation for the value of hard work and dedication to a successful outcome. In both the work that I have completed in college and my preparation course in high school, I have become very familiar with the design process and how a real engineer operates and how to utilize these skills in my education. Through the jobs I worked, I have learned valuable social skills and the importance of team work and mutual understanding between coworkers. Growing up my father worked for a manufacturing company, and seeing the things his company produced really sparked an interest in me that has stayed to this day. I would love the opportunity to get into manufacturing and digital design as I believe my skills and passions will be on full display.
