
I am excited about the potential to grow my thirty years of experience in the industry having worked every position in the restaurant. My experience includes playing a vital role in the recovery of a failing restaurant to a very successful restaurant. Also embracing the many systems, culture and ongoing development at Zingerman’s. My experience led me to many take away’s that are essential to maximize the success of the dining experience. The emphasis on developing employees and myself was internalized at a deep level at Zingerman’s. I believe that to lead by example it is important to always be early, assure that the quality is at or above our standards consistently, and embrace Servant leadership and a You First culture at all times. If you have happy employees, you have happy guests’ smiles are contagious. Leadership is only true if it is tested under pressure I thrive in fast past chaotic situations and am able to adapt to our guests needs. Leading by example is also showing that doing the best thing for our organization is doing the best thing for my personal growth as well.
